For over 95 years we have been trading in the local district with the manufacture and installation of all forms of joinery . In 2011 Lancaster Castle ceased to be the County Prison and in recent times we have been involved in restoration projects, many parts of which are now open to the public. One of Lancaster’s oldest buildings is the Judge’s Lodgings an elegant grade 1 listed building, we were privileged to be involved in the period restoration of some of the rooms. The building is now open as a museum Our range of expertise and skill has taken us to involvement with projects for many local schools, as well the the Church of England Diocese of Blackburn i.e. listed and worship buildings. We pride ourselves that we give the same high standard of service and care to numerous private clients. Our small and dedicated workforce are all time-served craftsmen, enhanced CRB checked and CSCS (Construction Skills & Certification Scheme) Health and Safety carded. J Dixon and Sons are members of the British Woodworkers Federation.
