Photography as art and a process takes me around the English countryside and her cities that I love – especially Scotland, Wales and on occasions into Europe. Delivering creative wedding and portrait photography to clients in the northwest of England.

Wedding photography demands the main focus of my workflow on a daily basis. Working on pre and post-production involving clients and venues predominantly around the Northwest. I am keen to provide national coverage including Scotland, North Wales and Ireland whenever necessary. A pre-wedding consultation is essential and can be made within a 30 mile radius. I believe that face to face consultation with clients is a great way to get to know each other!

My style of wedding photography notes a contemporary edge, using traditional elegance combined with years of knowledge and commitment to creating beautiful photography. I use all methods of digital postproduction to create visually stunning images such as Black and White photography and sepia processes.

I always offer reportage/documentary style coverage throughout your day. This unique photography style realizes and captures the natural aspects and delicate details of your wedding day, together with on location shoots and formal shots, Albums and Story books can be produced as potential optional extras.

Weddings in the Lake District forms a large part of my portfolio having covered wedding venues at the – Low Wood Bay Hotel, The Wild boar Inn Windermere and the Merewood country-house hotel near Ambleside.

As a local Wedding photographer for Lancaster and Morecambe I cover these northern cities on a regular basis. Venues such as Lancaster Cathedral, Ashton Memorial at Williamson,s Park, The Midland Hotel and many other inner-city locations. My main reach for photography work includes the counties of Lancashire, Yorkshire, Cheshire, North Wales and the south of Scotland.

Creating fresh/modern/One-to-one Portrait Photography for my clients is essential. I have had the pleasure of creating works for sporting individuals, professional singers and entertainers and many other artists from around the North of England. Family portraiture for close relatives and loved ones forms a constant stream of work in my local catchment area on a monthly basis.

Commissioned/event photography has made a positive impact on my portfolio as a few years ago I was handed a project to record an event with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge before their Wedding Day. Both Prince William and Kate Middleton attended a charity day in Blackburn of which I photographed on a documentary style basis. This was not just only an honour, but a profound experience which I will never forget.
