Design, Flair And Attention To Detail
Combining 30 years design experience with the latest styles and innovative kitchens, a Poulton-le-Fylde kitchen company offers a relaxing, enjoyable experience to all their customers, writes Catherine Mallord.
The vast showroom unit of Robert Pallant Designs is worlds away from the high street shop they had when the businesses started 30 years ago. The newly extended and appointed showroom has a wonderful ambiance when you walk in to browse the fully functioning displays, demonstrating their quality German-designed kitchens.
Director Robert Pallant said: “We want our customers to get a feeling for what their new kitchens can bring to their home and how they can work with their lifestyles, and I feel the showroom has achieved this.”
Alongside all the units and appliances you would expect, the showroom showcases dining furniture options and lighting styles, as well as all the variances of taps and tiles.
Robert added: “Buying a new kitchen should be a relaxing and enjoyable experience. We start by inviting potential customers into the showroom to get a feel for their likes and dislikes.
“Kitchens have come on so greatly in the last 10 years that we also give demonstrations on different styles and functions, as well as showing the full range of appliances.
“We also start to build a picture of their lifestyle and needs; size of the family, dining and cooking habits, any pets – no detail is too minor to building the picture. The kitchen is an integral living space not just a room.
“We then carry out a survey at the home to further discuss ideas and get a feel for the space and take the measurements.
“After hand drawing all our designs we create 3D full colour visuals and then go on to discuss specifications.
“We offer a very personal service, and really listen to the customer. I deal directly with the customer throughout the process and then hand over to my fitting team – the twins who have worked with me since starting out 30 years ago.”
All of the kitchens supplied by Robert Pallant Designs are made to order from top German manufacturer, Schuller, and offer superior quality, form and function.
Robert added: “Schuller is one of the top three German kitchen manufacturers but they are still a family run business with whom we have a great working relationship. All orders can be tailored down to the very last detail.”
The showroom houses the latest trends in kitchens, smooth, sleek lines and minimal finishes, handle-less drawers and cupboards and storage where everything has a place to go away.
Lighting and mood setting is becoming an integral part of finishing the perfect kitchen design and Robert Pallant Designs have teamed up with Icon Lighting to provide a fantastic showcase of the latest designs in the showroom.
Also vital to the design is making the most of the innovative appliances available, from Quooker boiling taps and active clean cookers by Siemens – whose unique pyro cleaning system simply switches on and carbonises the grease and dirt so that it only needs minimal wiping to finish.
In and around the showroom are cards from customers. A few notes read: “Great advice, design and expertise,” Eileen and Chris. “Excellent, efficient, helpful,” Sue and Ian. “Design and flair meets attention to detail and workmanship,” Andy and Becky.
Also available through Robert Pallant Designs is a selection of beautiful fitted wardrobes and bedroom furniture, which can be specified inside and out with a wide selection of styles and finishes.
Robert added: “All kitchens start out as a box and it is then about how clever you can be with that space. We make sure that every millimetre of every unit and cupboard is used as efficiently as possible making storage accessible and functional.”
