Wallasey Beach
Good for swimming and kitesurfing though pay heed to the restrictions; lighthouse, fort and museum nearby.

Old Colwyn Beach
Colwyn Bay
Great for waters sports, sea fishing and sand castles, cycling and hiking and with good immediate amenities. Busy in the summer.

Longsands Beach
Sandy beach with good swimming and popular with surfers. Aquarium and facilities nearby, and a short walk away is a smaller version of the beach which is a little quieter.
